Mirabelle and I tried to go to do a second interview today but on our way to the NGO we saw a whole bunch of the women fleeing the scene. Nervous we asked what was going on, and the women said they had heard shots just a moment ago, so we got back on our bike and drove away from the NGO. It turns out there were two events, the one we heard was a military shooting a cop and killing him. There was another event downtown, which I have no information on. I was talking with another member or the staff and he said since Fatou is gone I could call him at any time and he would come get me f I was nervous, so I have a back up plan for now! Going home to be safe!
