Book to Read

If anyone is interested in reading about a woman's life in Burkina I HIGHLY suggest this book. It is called "Hustling is Not stealing; stories of an African Bar girl" by John M. Chernoff.

It is an amazing book, not an ethnography (anthro book) its a novel and its a very interesting view at a woman's role in society, especially coming from a poor family in africa.

just an fyi you have to get past the intro which gives you a full recap of africa history in about 75 pages but after that it develops into this woman's story. its amazing
